I thought that before anything, I was a borderline. That before anything that made me me, was this monster of an illness casting a shadow on it all; my entire personality. My personality is not broken and I am not broken. I had the idea of crossing out the two words of the three that made it feel all wrong. I am not “borderline”. And I am not “disordered”. But I do have a valuable PERSONALITY and BPD does not strip us of this. I see the curses in my illness and I see the blessings. And in fact, the way I look at it, my personality actually falls under the blessings.
